Guidelines for Cake Requests
Sweet Dreams is a nonprofit organization that is completely supported and operated by volunteer efforts. Cakes are made from donated supplies and baked by people who have a love of baking and a passion to help others.
Please understand that we don’t guarantee elaborately decorated cakes like you see in magazines and on TV. Our volunteers generally are not professional cake decorators. We are a team of people who enjoy baking and helping others. However, we can assure you that we will try our best to make the cakes as special as possible.
Most cakes will serve between 10-12 people. We will do our best to accommodate all cake requests, but please remember - Sweet Dreams works to provide cakes or other baked goods for individuals and families who would not otherwise be able to celebrate their special days with such treats.
For individual birthdays and/or celebrations you may choose between a cake or cupcakes. If you choose cupcakes, you may request up to 20 cupcakes. Again, most cakes will serve between 10-12 people - this size is equivalent to what one box of cake mix would typically make.
All cakes can be personalized for all birthdays and/or celebrations including colors, themes, and names. You may also choose from these flavors for the cake or cupcakes: white, yellow, chocolate, strawberry or marble with either vanilla or chocolate frosting.
Although we may not be able to accommodate all dietary needs or food allergies, please inform us of any special dietary needs or food allergies.
All requests will be reviewed for approval by Board Members of Sweet Dreams. You will receive a response to your request within 48 hours.
